Leaked audio reveals Google's CEO saying he'll add workplace 'hubs' but still sees most company jobs tied to an office

Unlike Microsoft, Google isn't ready to embrace a permanent work-from-home existence.

Google employees have been pressuring the company to define its plans for the future of remote work, and CEO Sundar Pichai may have done just that, telling workers in a recent Q&A session that he plans to grow "hub" offices but still sees most jobs tied to an office, according to a recording of the meeting obtained by Business Insider.
